July 9, 2010 Down in the Woods!
We are going to enclose most of the property (not across the creek) but most of it. This is part of the ravine in the woods and near the creek. We have been walking around with prospective fence builders and checking on the survey posts. . . it is a mess trying to find them in the ravine - but the surveyors do!
July 7, 2010 Roundface takes a sunbath
"Roundface" is enjoying a nap outside. He is an old fella, but still enjoys going out every now and then. His front leg (the one he is dangling) has been broken and so has his tail - I "coerced" him into living with us when he was 1-3 years old and he already had those injuries. He was a true feral cat. . . took almost a year before he would let us see him eat the food we put out. If we were there, he would run back in the woods until we went inside. . . don't get me started about how long it took for him to let us pet him! Now at 15 years old, he is a lap magnet!
