This pyracantha is in my Mom's yard. Right now it has blooms and berries on it. Beautiful!

Our house faces south toward the ravine and the woods. No one ever sees it from here. The porch is outside my studio.

April 10, 2010 'Roundface' is a Sweet ol' Boy!
'Roundface' is so cute the way he sleeps with his back legs pulled up to his face, while his left front leg drapes across them to hold them there! His 'elbow' on that front leg was broken (before he decided to live with us) and is about the size of my wrist. His tail is also broken. He was a true feral cat.
He is the sweetest ol' huggy bear and loves to sleep on my lap!

Here is our Nolan Ryan autographed baseball, a library pin from the second grade (I was an avid reader),
and a porcelain doorknob presented to me on Valentine's Day by a fellow painter in the art department. He scoured everywhere for old
doors to paint on since he couldn't afford canvas!

This little guy had already created one pocket for his nest and I decided not to bother it. It will be small, they will hatch, and then I will remove it. Until then, it really is fascinating to watch!
