Projectile Point and Desert Rose

We live by the woods on a ravine.  A creek runs at the bottom of the ravine.  I found this projectile point while digging a hole for an azalea plant in my front yard.  It is about 3.5 - 4" long and about 1.5" wide at the base.  The "Indian Mounds" are not too far from here.  I purchased the desert rose from a dealer who sells a variety of natural items such as amethyst geodes, unusual sea shells, etc.
