Here come the young geese and there go the adults to meet them  (notice the smallest at the bottom between the two adults.  He was separated from them and everyone was upset, but they are all together and better now!

Look how the adults congregate around the young .  You've got to love this!

This beautiful oak leaf hydrangea is in my Mom's front yard.  My husband's brother's wife gave them to her about 15 years ago. It is beautiful!

May 14, 2010 History - perhaps Atlantis' final launch 132 missions

Atlantis may not be placed in a museum right away as it will be prepped for International Space Station rescue if needed (let's hope not). 

My Mom loves to watch these launches and I don't believe she has missed one since they started putting them on t.v.

May 12, 2010 Pretty Little Dragonflies

Saw this little guy on the Cannas in the front yard (just in time for Mosquito season, too)!

While we were  at the beach, we saw  this little guy get caught by the wind and surf. He went under twice!  We rescued him from the water, took him away from the immediate  beach to let his wings dry where he could "flutter off" the salt water!

Bump is a long and lanky fellow!  He is quite a little character, too!
