ReplyDeleteI figured it out as ice cubes, but the pink hue changes your perceptions. I love that shift that happens when you don't understand what you are seeing...it forces you to actually look.

ReplyDeleteCyndy, I was curious about the hue as well. I thought it was a "color skew" from the camera or the cold or whatever, but when I really looked, it appears that a fuschia lid on an ice tray in the freezer compartment (why I still have an ice tray in there I do not know) is directly under the ice maker container which is translucent enough to pick up that faint blush - interesting, huh? I never noticed the color before I took the photographs. . . and as you suggest, 'shift happens,' eh?! Have a good day!
